Are you an experienced Parts Advisor or Senior Parts Advisor ready to take the next step in your career?

We’re looking for a confident and organised Parts Supervisor to join our client’s Canterbury operation, overseeing the day-to-day running of the Parts departments across two local sites.

Reporting directly to the Parts Manager, this is a hands-on supervisory role where you’ll be responsible for keeping the Parts operation running smoothly, supporting the workshop and leading a team of 3–4 members of staff.

What will you be doing?

You’ll play a key role in the daily running of both Canterbury sites, making sure the right parts are available when they’re needed and that the Parts team and workshop are working effectively together.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Parts departments across both Canterbury sites.

• Leading, supporting and motivating a team of 3–4 Parts staff.

• Managing stock levels, inventory and parts availability.

• Working closely with Workshop Technicians to ensure they have the correct parts when required.

• Monitoring orders and resolving any parts availability or supply issues.

• Supporting the Parts Manager with the smooth and efficient running of the department.

• Maintaining high levels of accuracy and organisation across the Parts operation.

• Helping to ensure the department delivers an efficient service to both internal and external customers.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who already understands how a busy automotive Parts department works and is ready to take on more responsibility.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience within an automotive Parts department.

• Experience as a Parts Advisor, Senior Parts Advisor or Parts Supervisor.

• Good knowledge of vehicle parts and the day-to-day demands of a busy workshop environment.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• The confidence to lead and support a small team.

• Good communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with the workshop and wider business.

• A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.

What's on offer?

💷 £34,000–£35,000 basic salary, depending on experience
💰 £40,000 OTE
📍 Canterbury – two sites
⏰ Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm
🍽️ 60-minute lunch break
📅 Every other Saturday – paid additionally as a set fee
👥 Supervisory responsibility for a team of 3–4
