Adam Curtis
Operations Director & Recruitment Consultant


As Operations Director, Adam is responsible for the day to day management of the Company whilst also being directly responsible for all recruiting matters.

Since 2012 Adam has become an experienced Automotive Recruiter who is able to provide expert advice and support to all types of Automotive businesses and candidates. Adam is a very professional individual who brings a fresh and motivated approach to Automotive Recruitment with the objective to continue and progress within an industry that he enjoys being part of. Adam is innovative and highly capable of managing successful campaigns and initiatives designed to attract new candidates and facilitate the unique bespoke requirements of his clients while at all times being passionately committed to the delivery of outstanding customer service.

In 2007, Adam took a leap from banking to the motor trade and started with Volkswagen as a Trainee Sales Executive and after success with this was promoted to Business Manager within 18 months. After being highly successful for over 3 years in this role, Adam was then given the responsibility of managing the new car department and enjoyed working in a challenging environment. Communicating with people at all levels, Adam demonstrated his ability to deliver accuracy under pressure whilst delivering a great customer and client experience. 





Stacey Hunt
Marketing Director


Stacey joined ACS Automotive Recruitment Consultancy in January 2009 on a part time basis after having her first child. She began working full time in September 2015 and is now the Marketing Director as well as assisting the Resourcing team and dealing with all IT issues for the office.

Prior to working for ACS Automotive Recruitment Consultancy, Stacey worked for Konica Minolta Business Solutions as a Hotline Supervisor providing IT support on the entire range of Konica Minolta multi-functional devices for both customers’ and technicians’ alike.

Proud to be part of the family business, Stacey is a very enthusiastic and customer orientated individual who strives to ensure the best possible service at all times.


Clare Mutten
Recruitment Consultant


Clare joined ACS Automotive Recruitment in 2018. Prior to this Clare spent 3.5 years in a main dealership as a Sales Executive selling new and used vehicles to retail and commercial customers, and has first hand knowledge of how the industry works. Before this, Clare spent 25 years within the travel industry and brings with her many years of excellent customer service.

In the short time that Clare has been with us, she has progressed on from Resourcer to becoming a Recruitment Consultant looking after the East Anglia and Home Counties regions of the Country alongside Adam.


Steve Bannister
Recruitment Consultant


Stephen Join ACS in April 2019, He is an experienced, very capable recruiter spending the past 13 years in the recruitment sector, a large part being within the automotive industry. Stephen has also run his own recruitment company specialising in offering supply teachers to schools and educational institutions. Before entering the world of recruitment Stephen spent the previous 22 years working with in franchised dealerships such as Honda, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Citroen & Toyota as General Sales Manager.


David Jones
Recruitment Consultant


David has worked in the Automotive Industry since he was 16 and has taken on nearly every role in a dealership. He started as a Technician then moved on to Quality Control once qualified. He then moved up to Workshop Control and from there into a role as a Service Advisor, progressing to Senior Service Advisor and finally Assistant Service Manager. He then spent a year in sales to learn that side of the trade. He has worked with many different brands including Honda, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Lexus, Skoda, VW, Mercedes AMG, Jaguar and Land Rover.

David brings with him nearly 20 years' worth of knowledge and experience to ACS and will be looking after our clients and candidates in the West and Midlands areas of the UK.


Melanie Atkin
Database Administrator


ACS Automotive Recruitment's most recent recruit, Mel worked in London for 18 years in the finance industry, when she decided it was time to look for a more local role with consideration to start a family.

Having achieved this, she then returned to administration work in 2012. 

Whilst her knowledge of the automotive industry is growing day by day, her attention to finite detail and accuracy has proved extremely valuable and she is now responsible for not only maintaining our central database, but researching dealerships across potentially new areas in the UK.  She has taken on an active role in searching for new candidates and candidates for existing job roles.  Mel enjoys a proactive and positive approach to her role, and enjoys customer/client interaction wherever possible.
