Panel Beater
Wickford, Essex
£40,000–£55,000 per annum, depending on experience
Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with overtime and occasional Saturdays
ACS Automotive are recruiting for an experienced Panel Beater to join a growing, family-run vehicle repair and refinishing business in Wickford.
This opportunity would suit someone who takes pride in producing high-quality repairs and enjoys working within a friendly, hands-on team. Alongside panel beating, you should be comfortable helping with other bodyshop tasks, particularly stripping and fitting, as workloads require.
Your responsibilities will include:

Assessing damage and using appropriate repair methods to restore vehicle bodywork.

Repairing and replacing damaged panels and structural components.

Removing damaged panels and fitting and welding replacement panels.

Carrying out stripping and fitting work to support the repair process.

Working closely with colleagues to complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard.

Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.
What we’re looking for:

Proven experience as a Panel Beater within a bodyshop.

Strong repair skills and excellent attention to detail.

Experience in stripping and fitting, with a flexible approach to supporting the wider workshop.

The ability to work efficiently without compromising quality.

A positive attitude and good communication skills.
ATA accreditation or an NVQ Level 3 qualification would be advantageous, but experienced candidates without formal qualifications are welcome to apply. You must be willing to work towards relevant qualifications, with support available from the business.
