Fleet Vehicle Sales Support – Ipswich
£29,870 basic salary | Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week
ACS Automotive is recruiting for a Fleet Sales Support role at a dealership fleet hub in Ipswich. You’ll support the Local Business Development Managers with customer enquiries, vehicle quotes and new fleet orders.
The role combines fleet sales administration with customer contact primarily by phone. You’ll keep business customers updated on their orders, coordinate deliveries and collections, and help with vehicle handovers when needed.
What you’ll be doing
- Helping the fleet sales team prepare customer quotes and flagging vehicles that qualify for additional sales support.
- Taking incoming sales calls when the relevant Business Development Manager is unavailable, recording the details and passing them on promptly.
- Calling customers with updates on stock availability, order progress and expected arrival dates.
- Coordinating deliveries, collections and handovers, making sure the correct paperwork reaches everyone involved.
- Supporting the administration involved in ordering and supplying new fleet vehicles in line with dealership and manufacturer procedures.
- Keeping customer and order records accurate and handling customer information in line with GDPR requirements.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in fleet sales support or vehicle sales support within a car dealership or fleet company is essential.
- Experience processing vehicle orders, preparing handover paperwork and keeping customers updated on delivery dates.
- Confidence picking up the phone to handle enquiries, give updates and follow up with customers.
- A proactive approach to chasing updates and resolving queries before they delay a delivery or handover.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to reprioritise when delivery dates or customer requirements change.
