Vehicle Prep Technician

£25,000 – £32,000 DOE + Bonus
42.5 hours per week | Saturdays paid at time and a half

We’re looking for a Vehicle Prep Technician / PDI Technician to join a busy team in Thames Ditton.

This is a hands-on role preparing vehicles to a high standard before they go out to customers. You’ll be carrying out PDI checks, vehicle inspections, basic mechanical work and general preparation, making sure every vehicle is safe, clean and ready for handover.

The Role

• Carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDI)

• Checking vehicles mechanically and making sure everything is working correctly

• Carrying out basic servicing and maintenance where required

• Preparing new and used vehicles for customer handover

• Checking vehicles for any faults or issues and reporting these

• Completing vehicle checks and paperwork accurately

• Working as part of a busy workshop team

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

About You

We’re looking for someone who has previous experience in vehicle preparation, PDI, servicing or workshop-based vehicle maintenance.

You’ll ideally have:

• Good general mechanical knowledge

• Experience working on cars in a workshop environment

• A good eye for detail

• A full UK driving licence

• A professional approach and good work ethic

• The ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards

What’s on Offer?

£25,000 – £32,000 depending on experience, plus bonus
