This is more than a parts job. It is a pivotal leadership role in their aftersales growth strategy. You will shape the entire parts function — from systems and supply chain to people and processes — and turn it into a strategic engine of profitability and customer satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Define and deliver parts strategy — ensuring commercial, operational and customer goals are aligned.
- Build and lead a fit-for-purpose parts function that supports vehicle uptime, warranty, and aftersales KPIs.
- Own the full parts lifecycle — procurement, stock control, fulfilment, margin analysis and supplier terms.
- Continuously identify and validate suitable alternative parts – Identify alternative aftermarket parts suppliers to enhance competitiveness, reduce costs and shorten lead times.
- Modernise systems — champion the integration of Odoo and drive efficiency through automation.
- Grow our supply chain — identify alternative and OEM suppliers to reduce cost and lead time.
- Support sales & aftersales teams — act as a trusted partner to ensure workshop, warranty and field teams always have the right parts at the right time.
- Recruit, mentor, and inspire — grow a capable team of parts advisors and administrators as volumes scale.
- Use data to drive decisions — define KPIs, analyse trends, and report performance regularly.

- A proven senior parts professional from the commercial vehicle, PSV, HGV or off-highway sectors.
- Deep understanding of parts logistics, supply chain and inventory systems.
- Commercially minded – you think in terms of margin, not just availability.
- Comfortable leading people, processes and systems change.
- Tech-savvy – experienced in using or implementing dealer management/ERP platforms like Odoo.
- Calm under pressure and credible with suppliers, technicians and customers alike.
- A natural mentor and motivator with a track record of building strong teams.
- You share our values: Kinetic, Holistic, Dynamic and Authentic.
Benefits:
- Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 depending on experience + performance bonus potential.
- Holiday: 22 days plus UK bank holidays growing to 25 days with service.
- Benefits: Private healthcare, pension scheme, cycle-to-work, Benefits portal.
- Development: Access to training, conferences, and industry insights.
- Autonomy: You will own the function and shape it your way.
