Our client, a franchised dealership in the Cheltenham area is currently recruiting for an Aftersales Advisor to join their busy team. The basic salary on offer is £23k and the OTE is £27k.

Job Description of an Aftersales Advisor

As an Aftersales Advisor for this dealership, you will be controlling and maximising service bookings, interpreting customer's requirements and warranty administration control. You will always ensure that you are offering the highest level of customer service at all times. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of stock control and other related systems are operated and maintained in an accurate and up to date manner, dealing with customers promptly and respectfully and maintaining a highly pro-active presence within the showroom ensuring that we maximise sales of rider equipment, accessories, parts, service and repairs.

Key Responsibilities and Roles

• To ensure that parts are correctly checked against delivery notes and that they are binned accordingly and that all orders are checked against the delivery.

• To ensure that the procedures for handling cash, cheques and accounts are fully adhered to.

• Ensure that all telephones and customer enquiries (internal and external) are answered promptly and the necessary action is taken to fulfil the customer’s requirements.

• Record any customer complaints and bring to the attention of the Manager.

• To make sure that all parts are located in stock correctly and have the correct part number clearly labelled.

• To make appointments for customers and plan arrival times

• To agree price and method of payment for all routine service and repair work at point of booking or vehicle drop off.

• To greet customers at reception, confirm customers service and repair requirements.

• To liaise with a customer through the day and ensure all upsell opportunities are presented and offered, and any objections discussed. 

• To load the workshop accurately using computerised reservation system.

• Monitor progress through the workshop regularly to ensure delivery times are met.

Working hours are 45 hours a week, Monday to Friday with Saturday's on a rota.
