Vehicle Technician/Mobile Technician - Essex

Our client, an independent Servicing & Repair Garage is currently looking for 2 fully qualified Vehicle Technicians to join their team. They are looking for 1 Technician to work on the premises in Tilbury, and the other to be a Mobile Technician (van provided), visiting their customers' fleet vehicles at the premises of the customer. LCV knowledge would be especially helpful for the Mobile Technician role. The salary for these roles is £26k - £35k depending on your experience and there are good opportunities to earn overtime.

They specialise in maintaining & repairing a wide range of vehicle makes & models on a daily basis. These will range from high performance vehicles to standard vehicles & light commercial fleets.

Main Duties:

• General Maintenance & Repairs.
• Electrical & Complex Electrical Fault Finding & Repairs.
• Mechanical Fault Finding.
• Timing Belt/Chain Replacements.
• Wheel Alignment. (Training Provided)
• Full Vehicle Project Builds
  
  Bonus Skill Set, However Not essential: 
• Welding & Fabrication.
• Transmission Rebuilding.
• Engine Rebuilding.

DESIRED CANDIDATE:

• The successful candidate must have the following.
• Full UK Driving License
• Must have own tools.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Good customer service.
• Attention to detail.
• Competent in all aspects of repair & maintenance.
• Ability to work off their own initiative & also in a team.
• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Self motivation.
• Reliable, honest & trustworthy.
• Flexibility to adapt to changes.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6pm with 1 in 2 Saturdays.
