Vehicle Technician - Essex

Our client is a fast growing independently owned used car dealership in the SS postcode of the Essex area looking for a Vehicle Technician to join their team! The salary on offer is £40k-£45k Basic Plus Bonus.

Hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Friday with 1 in 2 Saturdays 8am-1pm.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Technician to join our clients thriving workshop. You will carry out pre-delivery inspections on stock vehicles working to the highest and safest standards at all time. You will be expected to be able to keep to strict deadlines, be able to work under pressure and have the ability to work within a small team environment. Successful applicants must hold a Full UK driving licence. MOT Testers is desirable however not a pre-requisite.

Main Responsibilities

• Carry our vehicle maintenance and repair
• Utilising your technical knowledge
• Testing, diagnosing, and resolving faults
• Suggesting and making improvements to processes
• Working on electrical and mechanical systems
• Inspecting components for wear and tear
• Repairing and replacing parts
• Liaising with Workshop Controller in a timely manner to advise of any delays
• Supporting other Technicians in the Workshop
• Keep a clean and tidy work area
