Vehicle Technician - Suffolk

Our client, a well-established main dealer group based in Ipswich, Suffolk are looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop team.

The role is offering a basic salary of £25k graded upon experience, with an OTE of £30k.  Working hours (including a weekend rota) are Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:30.

Skills & experience:

• MOT qualified
• Ability to work within time frames, under pressure and on a variety of tasks
• Air Con certified
• Use of diagnostic tools
• Experience working within a workshop paying a high attention to detail
• Have excellent communication skills
• Hold a Full UK driving licence

Key responsibilities:

• Carry out all levels of technical works; from servicing to major engine work to diagnostic
• Service, diagnose and repair vehicles to an excellent standard
• Adhere to manufacturer procedures and processes
• Liaise effectively with multiple internal departments
• Enjoy working as part of a team of between 2 and 4 
• Maintain thorough and up to date product knowledge
• Be able to relay information on to customers providing them with your expert technical opinion
• Have a high attention to detail
