We are currently looking for a Service Administrator for a well respected Vehicle Dealership in the RM postcode area of Essex. The basic salary on offer is £24k, with an OTE of £27k.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR JOB:

  • To provide administration management, invoicing and warranty  
  • Cover for the Service Advisors when on holiday/sick etc.
  • Handling the Queries, complaints from invoicing and requesting order numbers for full repair authority
  • Loading of workshop hours and MOT bookings
  • To take responsibility of all roles passed by the Site Manager

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR JOB:

  • Writing up Job Cards
  • Making outbound calls to customers to book their car in for service etc.
  • Daily invoicing and control of hours being booked accordingly.
  • Submission of warranty and R & M claims to the manufacturer.
  • Assisting with administration requirements from the manufacturer to comply with dealer standard.
  • Control of work in progress through to invoicing
  • Sending out information to customers when instructed to do so.
  • Maintaining order with work requests and authorisation.
  • Filing and recording of all workshop paperwork.
  • Assisting with other general administration duties as and when time permits.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8.30am to 5pm. When covering for a Service Advisor the hours will be on shift: 7.30am to 5.30pm, 8am to 6pm or 8.30am to 6.30pm.
