Rental Advisor - Kent

Our client, a Commercial Vehicle Dealership in the ME postcode area of Kent is currently looking to recruit an experienced Rental Advisor to join their busy team. The basic salary on offer is £20k with an OTE of £23k.

Key Responsibilities:

• Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills required when dealing daily with clients and with general vehicle rental enquiries.
• The checking in and out of the hire vehicles will be a major part of this role which will generally take place at on site, but on occasions it may be necessary to attend a customer's site
• Invoicing the customer for the hire period along with fuel shortages and any damage which may take place while on hire to the customers.
• General administration for all rental/contract hire business.
• Control of drivers ensuring prompt delivery and collection of vehicles.
• Maintaining a good standard of cleanliness of all hire the vehicles.
• Reporting on vehicle utilisation
• Ensuring that all legally required documentation is in order e.g. insurance, drivers’ licenses etc.
• Liaison with the Service Department regarding control of rental fleet service, repair and maintenance schedules.
• Provision and understanding of compliance documentation for clients.
• To improve online performance with the main search engines with usage of social media and internet based facilities.
• To contact customers in advance of bookings to confirm attendance, time of arrival and order number.
• Computer knowledge of Excel and Word is essential.

Working hours are: Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8am to 1pm.

A Full, Clean Driving License is Required
