Remote Diagnostic Technician - Nottinghamshire

Our client, a family owned business in the Nottingham area is looking to recruit an office based Remote Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their team. The salary on offer ranges from £25k - £35k depending on your experience.

This position has become available due to significant growth over the past few years and our client now has a reputation for excellence within the UK.

To successfully apply for this role, you must be a Master Technician preferably within a Prestige dealer. You will be required to carry out in depth diagnosis, module programming, key programming and be aware of latest procedures and be passionate about future technology.

Responsibilities:

• Remotely connecting to all different makes and models of vehicle via a cloud based link.
• Diagnosis of all aspects of motor vehicle structure both electrical and mechanical.
• Remote key programming.
• Remote vehicle module programming and configuration.
• Carry out software updates and technical service bulletins.
• Diagnostic tool updates and maintenance.
• Keeping up to date with latest technology and manufacturer changes.

Key Skills Required:

• Master technician qualification, ATA level 4
• At least 5 years motor vehicle diagnostician experience
• The ability to work in a competent and efficient manner on your own or part of a busy team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• The ability to carry out work to high standards to deadlines.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach.
• The ability to accurately follow written and spoken instructions.
• Current experience as a Diagnostic Technician
• A full driving license.
• Computer literacy, word, email, diagnostic equipment.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A people person with ability to fit into an experienced and target focused team
