Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8am – 4.30pm)  

Our client, located in the Ashford area of Kent, is on the lookout to recruit an experienced Plant Machinery Parts and Service Advisor to join their busy team. If you are interested in finding out more – please contact us today!

In this role you’ll be speaking to customers, assisting them with their parts needs and helping to arrange work for the engineers, ensuring you had ordered the correct parts/oils along with machine attachments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Establishing all customers’ needs for the correct required parts; diagnosing and recommending as appropriate.
• Arranging work for engineers, getting parts ready for them and learning how to order machine attachments.
• Answering the phone and assisting with queries.
• Helping and assisting in all aspects of the warehouse.
• Delivering exceptional customer service to external and internal customers.
• Assisting in stock checks.
• Maintaining a strong working relationship manufacturers.
• Discussing relevant promotions and offers to customers.
• Receiving, recording and allocating parts and consumables from suppliers.

Your Background & Skill:

• Proven experience as a Parts Advisor within the trade.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work towards deadlines.
• Committed to delivering excellent customer service.
• Confident and professional.
