As the Marketing Operations Manager for this company, you will lead and facilitate the delivery of all business operational activities alongside the wider marketing team. The Operations Manager will manage project resources, stakeholders, cross functional activities and dependencies to deliver projects on time, on budget and to a high-quality standard, ensuring alignment to scope with closely managed risks/issues and with a focus on meeting defined objectives. 

You will have a strong strategic and analytical background but be very hands on in fulfilling operational day to day functions. You should be able to work independently and be capable and confident of running projects alongside the wider marketing team; whether remotely and or on premises.

•    Be the central point of contact for creation and or contribution to Sales Department & Aftersales operational marketing initiatives.
•    Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s), and ensure that internal and or third party project team members have the access to necessary tools, people, and information
•    Have overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and reporting of quarterly and or operational marketing campaigns/materials, customer & staff events.
•    Execute marketing activities through a blend of agency support and self-administered marketing through inhouse email, SMS and artwork tools.
•    Manage and reporting of national sales company’s centrally fulfilled initiatives for retailers
•    Sponsorships strategy and management
•    Event strategy and management
•    Proactively seek and test new advertising channels
•    Communicate initiatives,  review strategy and performance with departmental managers and senior management team regularly
•    Deliver market share / automotive insights reporting.
•    Responsible for managing marketing budget and forecast
•    Perform project status and reporting during the execution, and complete project documentation upon project closure
•    Supplier negotiations and management
•    Use Project Management software to set timelines for short and long-term planning in order to manage internal resources and project logistics within budget and scope
•    Contribute your ideas to the Senior Management Group to drive change and implement processes and workflows that will enable a more efficient and effective delivery of projects. 
•    Ensure the correct cadence of below the line and above the line campaigns as well as affiliations for Group awareness
•    Enforce Group brand guidelines in all external interactions
•    Assist with adhoc daily database maintenance tasks.
•    Conduct market research on competitors and review market information starts to ensure that the business remains ahead of the competition and identify any trends
•    Provide additional marketing support to the Group Marketing Manager and wider Marketing team as required.
•    Adopt a flexible approach, enthusiastic and driven approach to achieving the financial goals of the business
•    Contribute to maintaining a high level of housekeeping and attention to health and safety issues as to create a healthy and safe working environment.
•    Willingly carry out any other duties deemed appropriate by the Company. 

•    Previous B2C & B2B marketing experience.
•    Experience professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in digital marketing.
•    Automotive experience desired.
•    Dotmailer or equivalent email marketing platform experience required
•    Social media management experience required.
•    Website content management system experience required.
•    Experience with digital analytics tools required.
•    An understanding of database management & marketing.
•    Previous event experience.
•    Experience in Financial Services marketing desired.
•    Working knowledge of GDPR, data protection and privacy rules
•    Proficient in MS Office.
•    The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
•    Experience of managing complex projects with multiple touch points

Education and Qualification 
•    UK Driving licence
•    CIM or marketing equivalent qualification desirable.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
