Car Handover Specialist - Bristol

Basic £20k, OTE £24k - Vehicle Sales

Due to continued expansion and ongoing success, our Client is looking for assertive, calm and enthusiastic people to join their Collections and Handover team at their dealership in the Bristol area. This team is responsible for administering the vehicle collections process ready for a professional and smooth customer handover.  You will organise and handle customer vehicle collections, delivering an experience that exceeds customer expectation. This role will give you an insight in to how the sales department runs with the opportunity to develop further within the sales team.

Work pattern

Monday to Sunday on rota - 5 days per week (including some evenings, weekends and bank holidays)

What you will be doing:

  • Delivering a consistent high quality of service for every customer
  • Working to a work schedule, and planning own time and activity accordingly
  • Working with sales teams to ensure customer collection appointments are well managed
  • Ensuring adequate inspections for all vehicles prior to customer collection
  • Checking ‘boxes’ for handover e.g. checking all documentation is present and correct including V5, MOT, Servicing, Order form etc. and ensuring they are ready for collection
  • Identifying any issues and ensuring they are rectified
  • Setting up documents and data checking
  • Meeting customers to perform handover
  • Upselling of products on collection e.g. service plans, warranties, GAP
  • Dealing with customer issues and queries
  • Dealing with part-exchanges e.g. moving cars, taking photos
  • General administration work associated with pre-delivery inspection, handover and dispatch of vehicles
  • Contacting customers after collection to resolve any issues and build an ongoing relationship with the Company

What we need from you:

  • A minimum of English and Maths at Grade C or above, GCSE level or equivalent;
  • Level 2 qualifications - a Level 3 NVQ in Business Admin/Customer Service would be advantageous;
  • Flexibility and commitment – you will be expected to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays;
  • A full, valid, UK driving licence;
  • Confidence in using IT systems & databases;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Excellent customer care skills;
  • Excellent organisation skills;
  • Enthusiasm and flexibility;
  • Assertiveness;
  • Approachability;
  • A good eye for detail;
  • A hands-on approach;
  • Ability to manage your own time, resources and workload effectively;
  • Previous experience in the Automotive industry would be advantageous
