Our client, an Accident Repair Centre in the Eastbourne area is currently looking for a Bodyshop Customer Service Advisor to join their friendly and welcoming team. The basic salary on offer is £22-25k DOE.

*** To successfully apply for this role your will need to have a career history as a Bodyshop Advisor or Bodyshop Administrator or within a Car Garage in a Customer Service role***.

Job Summary

  • Receive customer enquiries and successfully convert these into firm bookings.
  • Accurately record vehicle information, refer to service histories and effectively follow-up and prospect customers to secure repeat and incremental business.
  • Liaise with Insurance companies regarding the repairs.

Customer Relations

  • Advise customers of precise and where appropriate, estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken. Advise on predicted completion times and collection arrangements.
  • Ensure proper qualification and total understanding of customer needs and requirements.
  • Contact customers prior to visit to confirm booking and vehicle information, details of work to be carried out and method of payment (where appropriate).
  • Communicate clearly, regularly and unambiguously with customers and other members of the workshop staff.
  • Maintain close dialogue with other departmental staff with whom there is interaction.

Full training on computer systems will be provided. You will need to be a good communicator and have excellent attention to detail.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5p. Plus Saturday mornings on a rota.
